Hello, all! I'm not going to say much about this song. It's just after midnight, technically May now, but I have been working all evening trying to get this song finished, as usual. I am not so happy with this song, but it is what it is. Can't hit 'em all out of the park, right? I think the idea is a good one, but it seems wordy and ungainly to me. I was trying to experiment with non-rhyming lyrics, since I am usually a slave to them. Anyway, here it is. I am going to sleep! Enjoy!
Hi Zoe! This is the first time it's allowed me to comment for some reason. I think because my Google account was connected to my other email. I can see your frustration with this one a bit, but still, I am mighty impressed with your work mixing it and putting all together, I like the chorus, and I love when you harmonize with yourself toward the end.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Jackalynn! I hope you go back and try commenting on others! :) Hope your project is going well, too. See you soon!
DeleteWell, I like it. I especially love its hopefulness, and it has a beautiful lyricism. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteZoe, I love this song. It is thought-provoking, great tune--a little different, and lovely harmonies. Of course, April has only one L. ;-)

Thanks to my favorite editor! :)
DeleteHey Zoe: Thanks for once again putting yourself and your talent out there. With the latest song I liked message first of all (what teacher wouldn't when we're counting final days?) but I also liked all the overlaps with your voice. My favorite part was the acapella section in the middle. Keep it up girl... I believe you're sitting with only one song left!
